Returns Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your order, Hope & May is willing to offer you a return for a credit or exchange. Your return must adhere with our following policy and procedures outlined. 

Hope & May offers returns or exchanges on domestic orders within 10 days from the date of shipment and International orders within 20 days from the date of shipment.

Items must be in new condition with Hope & May garment tags attached. All items must be in unworn, unwashed and in new condition. All items must be returned in their original packaging. We will not be held responsible for any items returned that are not in new saleable condition. Hope & May reserves the right to refuse an exchange or return if any hygiene sticker has been removed or tampered. 

Exclusions apply for the below items to be returned.

  • Lingerie 
  • Pierced Jewellery
  • Sale Items (Items purchased or discounted)


Returns Procedure

  1. Contact our Hope & May customer service team at orders@hopeandmay.com to request a return/exchange within 7 days of receiving your order. Please include your full name, order number, reason for return and item/s to be returned.
  1. Once your return is approved, our customer service team will email you a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and return instructions. All returns must have a valid RAN. Items received that do not have a valid RAN may be returned to the customer. 
  1. Within 7 business days of receiving your RAN to the address provided. Please note: return shipping costs are not covered by Hope & May and will not be included in your refund. 
  1. Hope & May will review your return and will process exchange or credit if eligible. All credits processed for online orders are online eligible for online and not redeemable in our retail boutiques. 


Afterpay & Zip Pay Returns

Any returns which were paid via Afterpay and Zip Pay online are eligible for a credit or exchange only. Any remaining payments outstanding with Afterpay and Zippay will continue to be deducted from your allocated bank institute by Afterpay or Zip Pay. You will be then issued with a credit for the full amount originally purchased at Hope & May. 


There will be no returns on sale or discounted items - all purchases on sale items are final. We will not be held responsible for shipping and handling costs for the return item (including packaging). If the item does not reach us safely, Hope & May will not be held responsible. All returns must be within a 14 day time frame from RAN approval.

Hope & May reserves the right to deny unauthorised returns that do not meet or follow our return policy and procedures.
