Casual Sales Assistant (Byron Bay)

Start date: Immediately, from Monday 20th January

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Hope & May. Here at Hope & May we love what we do and are looking for the perfect girl, who is familiar with our brand ethos, has a ready for anything attitude and hard working ethic to come onboard as apart of a retail sales team in Byron Bay.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with demonstrated retail sales skills supported by their experience within the retail industry. 

  • 2+ years prior experience 
  • Flexibility with work hours and available on weekends.
  • The ability to work well in a team, contributing to store sales and co-operate well with managers to main
  • A willing to learn and increase your knowledge base under the guidance of the management team. 
  • A trustworthy and reliable personality

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a customer relationship role is highly regarded
  • Excellent eye for detail and good organisational skills
  • Must have a can do attitude
  • A personal drive to succeed and learn
  • Must be able to take initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Well presented

Successful applicant must be available Monday - Sunday approximately 15-25 hrs per week.

Part Time E-commerce / Customer Service Assistant (Byron Bay)

Start date: Immediately, from Monday 20th January

This is an exciting opportunity to join the online team at Hope & May. Here at Hope & May we love what we do and are looking for the perfect girl to join our E-Commerce and customer service team.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with demonstrated sales skills supported by their experience within the customer service industry.

  • 2+ years prior experience
  • Flexibility with work hours available Monday-Friday
  • The ability to work well in a team, contributing to sales and co-operate well with managers to maintain budgets
  • A willing to learn and increase your knowledge base under the guidance of the management team.
  • A trustworthy and reliable personality
  • Answering phone calls at Hope & May Head Office. Taking messages and assisting customers with product information.
  • Answering all customer service emails (the successful applicant must have exceptional spelling & grammar)
  • Assisting the team with stock management & stocktake
  • General office organisation i.e  spec sheets, filing and office maintenance

Experience in the following platforms would be preferred but not essential:

  • Shopify
  • Australia Post eParcel
  • Sendle
  • DHL
  • TNT
  • Lightspeed Retail

Successful applicant must be available Monday - Friday approximately 15-25 hrs per week.
